DEFINE YOUR LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS
A leader’s dispositions--the beliefs, actions and values that drive a leader’s actions and behavior--are as important to leadership as knowledge and skills when it comes to building strong teams, healthy school cultures, and joyful learning environments. Schools and districts benefit from generating shared consensus about dispositional expectations and making those expectations public and explicit for current and aspiring leaders.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Design Team is a facilitated process that enables central office leaders and school leaders to reach consensus on the skills, competencies, and dispositions required for leadership success in their community of schools. Our team leverages seminal research, state and national educational leadership standards, and our own tools and resources to help you define the leadership essentials for your school system.
The result is a leadership development framework that is both mirror and map: it reflects the non-negotiables that guide you today, and offers a framework to select, recruit and develop the leaders of tomorrow.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

WHAT OUR PARTNERS ARE SAYING
CONNECTION TO ASPIRING LEADERS
Design Team is the foundational phase of GLISI’s Aspiring Leaders service. Our participants tell us that Aspiring Leaders is relevant, engaging and prepares them for success in the system where they desire to lead because of the tight alignment between what we teach and the leadership essentials identified in Design Team.
Design Team also connects incumbent leaders with aspiring leaders in the system. Design Team participants tell us that as a result of participating, they were inspired to improve their own practice and were energized around facilitating the success of future leaders.
