“The impact of our 5-year partnership with GLISI shows up in our data. Monroe County’s state ranking for English Language Arts grades 3–8 improved from 72nd to 7th. These results can be explained by teachers and leaders in our system making intentional shifts toward a true performance culture, and aligning our efforts around a common goal. . . I can say with absolute certainty that our partnership has transformed the lives of our students, their families, and our community.”
- Chip Meyer, Assessment and Accountability Coordinator,

Leader Retention Rates
GLISI districts outpaced the state average graduation rate, growing by 9.6 percentage points to 83.5% from 2014 to 2016. That gain translated to 2,144 more Georgia students earning their high school diploma in 2016 alone.
Graduation rates drive economic activity. The 9.6 percentage point increase for GLISI districts from 2014 to 2016 yields over $137.5m in additional annual earnings.

GLISI’s direct impact is on adults teaching and leading in Georgia’s schools. Our services push leaders outside of their comfort zone so they can realize their fullest potential and support students in doing the same. Hear from leaders we’ve recently served about the benefit of the push.
