GLISI’s mission is fulfilled in increments of decades rather than single years. Like the growth of children that is invisible in a single photo but made evident when you line them up over the years, this snapshot view of GLISI's 2023 captures a moment in time in a long arc of progress toward our mission to Uplift > Transform > Create > Build more excellent and equitable schools.

This scrapbook offers snapshots of our day-to-day work in 2023 in support of educators in every community across Georgia. The snippets and artifacts here tell the story not only of our work, but also what was going on in the world beyond GLISI in 2023. Schools are nested within communities and social, economic, and cultural ecosystems. Supporting school leaders and improving the effectiveness and meaningfulness of school demands that our work also address challenges in that broader ecosystem.
