Base Camp and Leadership Summit (BCLS) is a unique training and coaching experience designed to grow teams of practicing educators. It is sanctioned time for your team to reconnect, recharge, and reimagine together, supported by a coach who will help you build strategies to advance your improvement goals.

A five-day, residential leadership development experience. Registration includes daytime meals (breakfast and lunch), lodging Sunday-Thursday, and a Performance Coach to work with your team to support your self-identified school improvement goals, and all associated learning materials.

Check-in is on Sunday, June 8 with sessions running from Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13.

No school or district is the same. Improvement strategies shouldn't be either.

Base Camp and Leadership Summit is not one-size-fits-all. Teams enter with unique challenges. Each team leaves with a unique plan of action. We use human-centered and data-driven design to create empowered spaces for teams to chart their own way toward improvement.

What specific mountain do you need to climb?

Base Camp is about connection and challenge. You'll learn more about what makes you tick as individuals and as a team and also be challenged to examine the assumptions that may be holding you back.

Leadership Summit is about the climb. With guidance from your coach each step of the way, your team will use data to name a performance problem worth solving and build a clear theory of action to drive your improvement efforts.

PERFORMANCE COACHES

Your team will have a dedicated Performance Coach to support you before, during, and after your experience.

Performance Coaches are instrumental in helping your team explore problems of practice and identify broader connections and implications of their improvement choices. They promote equity of voice and invite every team member into the experience.
